Pre-Primary Teacher

A kindergarten teacher is responsible for fostering the intellectual and social development of young children, creating a nurturing environment, and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Lesson Planning: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, focusing on basic literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
• Classroom Management: Create a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and collaboration among students.
• Student Assessment: Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback to ensure they are mastering age-appropriate skills and identifying any developmental issues.
• Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with parents regarding their children's progress and behavior, fostering a supportive home-school connection.
• Social Development: Facilitate social skills development through guided activities, playtime, and cooperative learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is typically required.
• Experience: Previous experience working with young children, such as student teaching or childcare, is often preferred.
