Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Planning and Delivery:
- Develop and implement lesson plans based on CBSE guidelines for pre-primary education.
- Introduce foundational concepts in literacy, numeracy, environmental awareness, and general knowledge through play-based learning.
- Use stories, rhymes, art, music, and activities to make learning interactive and enjoyable.
- Child-Centered Teaching:
- Focus on holistic development — cognitive, physical, emotional, and social growth.
- Identify individual learning needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking in children.
- Classroom Management:
- Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Maintain discipline using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Ensure hygiene, safety, and comfort of children at all times.
- Assessment and Progress Tracking:
- Conduct regular observations and informal assessments to monitor student progress.
- Maintain detailed student portfolios and progress reports.
- Share feedback with parents and suggest home-based learning support where needed.
- Parent Communication and Coordination:
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings and maintain regular communication regarding student growth.
- Address parental concerns empathetically and collaboratively.
- Professional Development:
- Participate in school workshops, training sessions, and curriculum planning meetings.
- Stay updated with early childhood education trends and CBSE guidelines.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with co-teachers, assistants, and school coordinators to plan activities and events.
- Support school events, celebrations, and assemblies as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Education or Child Development).
- NTT / ECCEd / D.El.Ed. (Pre-Primary Teacher Training) certification (mandatory as per CBSE norms).
- B.Ed. preferred for higher grade teaching readiness.
- Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in pre-primary teaching, preferably in a CBSE-affiliated school.
- Key Skills:
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Creativity in planning engaging learning experiences.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
