Pre-Production / Production Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Pre-Production / Production Assistant to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in coordinating the planning and execution of production schedules, ensuring seamless communication between departments, and supporting the overall efficiency of our manufacturing processes. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help drive our production goals forward, contributing to high-quality output and timely delivery. Responsibilities

Pre-Production/Costing:

• Build and maintain initial cost pack (fabric, trim, prints, artwork, yield, etc)
• Organize digital files, fabrics and approvals
• Monitor cost changes due to fabric updates, construction changes or vendor revisions and update Smartsheet
• Coordinate with design to create final CAD for adopted orders
• Assist with assembling production standards for factory placement

Production:

• Assist Production Coordinator in tracking lab dips, strike offs, trims and fabric approvals while maintaining the Production calendar.
• Submit and follow up on tech packs, revisions, comments & trim sheets
• Communicate with factories as needed, assisting production manager with communicating approvals, requesting fit fabric etc.

Account management:

• POL/input orders
• Item set up
• Checking B.A’s, style #’s, description, colors

Additional duties (if needed)

• May help with putting styles up to cut as needed
• Initial ordering of fabrics, trims and sourcing
• Cross training in areas such as Customer Service, AD Samples etc.

Requirements

• Min. 5 years industry experience
• Basic knowledge of knit and woven fabric
• Fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese
• Target experience a plus
• Full Fashion Sweater experience a plus

Pay: $31.25 - $33.66 per hour
