We’re now seeking a Precious Metal & Gemstone Buyer / Appointment Specialist to join our growing team and help us serve clients who wish to sell their jewelry, gemstones, and precious metals.

About the Role

As our Buyer, you’ll meet one-on-one with clients who bring in gold, platinum, silver, and jewelry containing diamonds or colored gemstones. You’ll evaluate their pieces, determine fair market value, and purchase items with professionalism, empathy, and transparency.

This is a customer-facing role ideal for someone who loves people, understands value, and thrives on turning trust into long-term relationships.

What You’ll Do

• Meet with customers by appointment to evaluate and purchase gold, silver, platinum, diamonds, and gemstones.
• Test metals and assess gemstones for authenticity, quality, and resale potential.
• Explain pricing clearly and honestly, building confidence with every transaction.
• Negotiate purchases fairly while supporting company goals and maintaining integrity.
• Maintain accurate purchase records and follow all security and compliance procedures.
• Coordinate with our inventory and finance teams on refining, resale, and estate opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience buying or appraising jewelry, gold, or gemstones (1–3 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of gold karats, gemstone identification, and market trends.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High ethical standards and attention to detail.
• Professional appearance and reliability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
