Precious Metals Buyer

$18 to $20 Hourly

The Gold Guy is looking for a responsible precious metals buyer for the surrounding Phoenix metro area. You must have some experience in working in the jewelry industry whether it is jewelry sales or in a pawn shop atmosphere. This position would be responsible for buying gold, silver, platinum and diamonds. Coin/bullion and high-grade watch experience is a plus.

This is a full time or part-time mainly in Mesa, but also a potentially floating position in which depending on the needs of business, we may need you to assist at other stores in Tempe and occasionally in Sun City. This means you must have a car and be able to drive to these locations depending on where you are assigned on any given day. This position requires flexibility, timeliness and the ability to work on Saturdays. Hours vary slightly by location, but all work hours are day time hours. No evening hours are available or required. This is a great opportunity for a student as there can be considerable downtime and we are open to using that time for studying, etc.

This position requires the use of a loupe for viewing small markings. Other requirements include basic computer experience, excellent communication skills, trustworthiness, excellent customer service, high attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

Pay is negotiable based on experience
