Precision CNC Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating CNC lathes. This role is essential in ensuring the precision and quality of our products through effective machining processes. The CNC Lathe Operator will work closely with engineers and quality control teams to fabricate components that meet stringent specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality parts according to engineering specifications.
• Set up and adjust tooling, fixtures, and workpieces for optimal machining performance.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to production processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in operating CNC lathes or similar machinery.
• Familiarity with tooling, CNC lathe machines is preferred.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
• Experience in quality control processes to ensure product integrity.
• Proficiency in reading CAD drawings and technical documentation.
• Forklift operation experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
