as a facility-based Millwright (minimal travel) supporting plant operations alongside PEC’s maintenance support team.
Impact and Responsibilities
-
Lead with TIG welding expertise; MIG and stick skills are beneficial.

Maintain, install, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
-
Diagnose issues with pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, bearings, motors, and related equipment.

Deliver precision alignment, equipment leveling, and rotating equipment installations.
-
Fabricate/modify parts, brackets, and fixtures to keep lines moving.
-
Apply systematic, root-cause troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

Interpret blueprints, mechanical diagrams, and equipment manuals to plan and execute work.

Engage with operators and PEC leadership to protect safety and throughput.

Model safe behaviors and consistent PPE usage.
-
Operate independently and as a trusted teammate.
Experience & Capabilities
-
2–3 years in Millwright or Industrial Maintenance roles.

Proven TIG proficiency with stainless and carbon steel.
-
Comprehensive mechanical aptitude for assembly and repair.
-
Fluent with blueprints and mechanical schematics.
-
Physically capable: stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Open to overtime to meet production demands.
