To strengthen our leadership team, we are seeking an experienced Precision Farming Systems Lead to drive the adoption and integration of smart farming technologies.

Role Overview

The Precision Farming Systems Lead will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing precision agriculture solutions, including IoT-enabled devices, data analytics, and automation systems. This role requires technical expertise, strategic vision, and the ability to collaborate with farmers, agronomists, and technology teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and deployment of precision farming systems across agricultural operations.
• Collaborate with agronomy, engineering, and IT teams to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Integrate sensors, drones, and IoT platforms to enable real-time monitoring and predictive analytics.
• Ensure compliance with sustainability, data protection, and industry standards.
• Develop strategies for digital transformation in agriculture, including smart irrigation and crop management.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor teams on precision farming technologies.
• Stay updated on emerging AgTech trends and innovations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in precision farming, AgTech, or digital transformation in agriculture.
• Strong knowledge of IoT platforms, data analytics, and remote sensing technologies.
• Experience with drones, GIS systems, and smart irrigation solutions.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning applications in agriculture.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
