Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Preconstruction Project Manager to lead the early phases of construction projects with enthusiasm and precision. Responsibilities

• Lead the development of comprehensive construction estimates using HeavyBid and other estimating tools, ensuring accuracy in cost projections and resource allocation.
• Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to negotiate contracts, scope of work, and pricing terms that align with project goals and budget constraints.
• Utilize Bluebeam software for detailed plan reviews, markup coordination, and document management to facilitate clear communication across teams.
• Coordinate with design teams to review drawings, specifications, and constructability issues early in the project lifecycle.
• Prepare detailed bid packages, proposals, and value engineering options to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
• Conduct risk assessments related to cost control and schedule impacts during preconstruction planning stages.
• Support project managers during the transition from preconstruction to construction by providing accurate estimates, schedules, and contractual documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction estimating, cost control, and project management within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of Bluebeam for document review and markup processes.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts effectively with clients and subcontractors.
• Familiarity with HeavyBid or similar estimating software is essential.
• Hands-on construction site experience combined with a solid understanding of construction management principles.
• Excellent skills in pricing strategies, scope development, and value engineering.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of contracts, project delivery methods, and risk mitigation techniques related to preconstruction activities. Pay: $110,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
