Premed Student Medical Assistant Internship at Edidiong Kaminska

Kaminska Dermatology in Chicago, IL is looking for a PRE-MED student to intern as a medical assistant with dermatology experience to join our team. Ideal experience for Gap Year with research and hands on experience opportunities. We are located in North Center and River North. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, reliable and friendly.

Responsibilities

• Verify and maintain patient records
• Set up and sanitize of exam rooms
• Complete basic routine medical procedures
• Provide consistent exceptional service
• Answer phones. Call patients with results
• Cross train with front desk and assist as needed
• Prior Authorizations
• Assist with medical and surgical procedures
• Scribe and order prescriptions
• Hands on experience
• Research

Qualifications

• Experience working in a medical field
• Familiarity working with medical equipment
• High attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
• Phlebotomy and Research is a plus!

Schedule:

Monday- Friday (8 hours)

1 Saturday every other month (4 hours)

Hours per week:

• 36-40

Work Remotely:

• Occasionally
