Overview

Poor Richards in Eureka is looking for people of all ages and experience to come join our kitchen staff! We are looking for a line/fry/prep cook for Week and Weekend Days.

Offering competitive pay, great working environment, flexible schedule, and free employee meals.

Day prep cooks pay $18 to $20 an hour. Experience preferred BUT more experience = more pay. Room to grow and able to get health benefits (after 90 days), possible management positions, and salary.

Qualifications

- Food preparation and cooking skills
- Restaurant and kitchen experience
- Culinary background with a focus on meal preparation
- Proficiency in food handling and knife skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring according to recipes and standards
• Assist with food assembly and plating to ensure presentation quality
• Support the cooking team by executing basic cooking tasks under supervision
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations, adhering to food safety protocols
• Handle food items safely during storage, preparation, and service to prevent contamination
• Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supplies needed
• Follow menu plans and portion controls to ensure consistency in meal quality and presentation

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
