In this energetic role, you will assist in preparing ingredients, assembling dishes, and supporting the kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient food service. Your culinary skills and attention to detail will help create delicious meals that delight our guests and uphold our high standards of food safety and quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your kitchen expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring according to recipes and menu specifications
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as portioning, garnishing, and assembling dishes for service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
• Support the catering team in cooking tasks, including basic food handling and cooking techniques
• Stock supplies and ingredients, monitor inventory levels, and communicate shortages to supervisors
• Follow proper knife skills for slicing, dicing, and preparing various ingredients efficiently and safely
• Assist with catering orders and special event meal preparations as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings demonstrates strong culinary skills
• Knowledge of food safety procedures and proper food handling practices is essential
• Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and food industry standards enhances your effectiveness in this role
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in basic cooking techniques are preferred
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork ethic with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations
