Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices and seasonings
- Assist in the food preparation process by washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely meal service
- Knowledge of basic food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
