Wowee Zowee Pizza is looking for a prep Lead. We make everything in this pizzeria in-house and are looking for a solid addition to the team. 28-35 hours per week. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food preparation activities, ensuring all ingredients are prepped according to recipes and safety standards.
• Lead the kitchen team in meal prep, including chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients for pizza making and other menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area, adhering to food safety protocols at all times.
• Assist with menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and prep needs for upcoming shifts.
• Support food handling procedures, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders during busy hours.
• Uphold high standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation throughout all prep activities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable.
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments with kitchen experience.
• Knowledge of food handling practices, safety regulations, and proper knife skills.
• Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a team effectively under pressure.
• Familiarity with food industry standards related to serving, food safety, and kitchen operations.
