Part-Time Graphic Design & Digital Print Specialist
San Ramon, CA

We are a busy, full-service design, digital printing, and promotional products franchise in San Ramon looking for a skilled and detail-oriented professional with a background in pre-press, graphic design, and digital print production. If you thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoy working directly with customers while bringing print projects to life, we’d love to meet you.

This is a part-time, Monday–Friday position with flexible scheduling:
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM, with strong potential for additional hours during high-volume periods.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare, design, and finalize files for digital printing
• Manage pre-press setup including bleeds, crops, imposition, and color calibration
• Operate digital printing equipment and RIP software
• Send proofs to customers and manage approvals
• Submit files to vendors and coordinate production workflows
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting walk-in customers, answering phones, and responding to emails
• Collaborate directly with customers and internal production staff
• Maintain organized job tickets, proofs, and archived artwork
• Support the production department as needed

• Solid PC proficiency and comfortable with learning internal systems

Technical Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher)
• Experience preparing print-ready files (pre-press, imposition, bleeds, crops, color correction)
• Familiarity with digital print systems (Xerox, Konica Minolta, or similar)
• Experience with Fiery Command Workstation RIP or comparable RIP software is a plus

Additional Requirements

• Ability to read and follow detailed job tickets and production instructions
• Comfortable balancing both customer-facing and production responsibilities
• Willingness to assist across departments when needed
• Minimum 1 year of print production experience preferred
