Location: Nicholasville, KY (Lexington Area)

Are you a detail-loving, creatively driven production artist who thrives in a fast-paced print environment? At Turner Labels, we’re looking for a Graphic Print Production Artist to join our team for a 6-month full-time role—with the potential for something more long-term for the right fit.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys blending technical precision with creative problem-solving to turn customer artwork into flawless, press-ready files.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be at the heart of our digital workflow, making sure every label is print-perfect and production-ready:

• Prepare and execute electronic art separations for customer files across various print methods
• Fine-tune files with color corrections to match exact targets
• Apply technical adjustments like overprints, pullbacks, and line requirements
• Manage multiple jobs simultaneously across different stages of prepress and production
• Collaborate with sales, managers, and production teams to exceed customer expectations
• Spot and resolve file issues before they hit the press
• Create and distribute color proofs (digital & hard copy)
• Adjust setups for specialty finishes like embossing and hot stamping
• Help troubleshoot print challenges alongside the production team
• Keep files, servers, and job folders organized and running smoothly
• Perform quality checks—because details matter here!

What You Bring

• Strong experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Illustrator on Mac)
• Solid understanding of typography, layout, and prepress file prep
• A sharp eye for color accuracy and correction
• Ability to adapt designs into various formats and sizes seamlessly
• Experience with Esko or HP Indigo is a plus
• A knack for staying organized and meeting tight deadlines
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
• A love for learning new tools and evolving with technology

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Graphic Design education preferred or 5+ years of relevant print industry experience
• Advanced computer skills, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and prepress tools

• Strong visual acuity, including color vision and attention to fine detail
