About Role
Provides consultative support and technical expertise in Pre Sales stage of sales opportunity. Manages the solution design and proposal composition for customer requests. Works in close coordination with Sales and customer IT team to develop product and solution design for specific customer requirements. Responsible for understanding customer requirements, coordinating with internal departments and outside vendors to develop solutions and offerings that leverage Client's products and services to address these requirements.
Required Experience

3-5 years in presales in telco and ICT industry

Experience in solution design, development and presales ICT and Telco industry
Responsibilities

Identifies and clarifies customers’ current and future business initiatives and needs and respective technical requirements.

Collects information from customer about their existing IT and telecommunications infrastructure and conducts analyses.

Communicates with respective Sales to understand customer’s history, competitive environment, planned strategy, tactics and other sales activities.

Ensures that information on existing products and services is available by interfacing with Product Marketing, Engineering and other internal stakeholders.

Provides technical support/advice on the development of proposals, bids and solution selling.

Does research for software and hardware products or Client's services and finds best solutions and prices to meet business requirements. Subsequently, present and translate the design to customers to ensure the solution will meet the customers' requirements.

Assesses price, performance and quality relationships for each solution as well as its total cost of use.

Compares possible Etisalat solutions with competitors’ solutions in terms of price, quality and performance and prepares supporting arguments for presentation and negotiation with customer.

Identifies current and future opportunities for cross and up selling and proposes them to Sales.

Provides technical & commercial advice to Sales and gives direction, guidance, and high-level techno-commercial support.

Develops winning proposals for customer requirements/RFP’s, working closely with Client's Product Marketing, Engineering, Contracts and external vendor partners. Carries out effective customer presentations to present solutions proposed.

Develops winning business cases for customer requirements/RFP’s, working closely with Finance and external vendor/partners.

Supports Project Management teams and Client's contracts in developing project plans, negotiating and drafting scope of work and contract documents.

Presents client's in technical and marketing events working closely with product marketing to present client's products and services.
