Presales Consultant

Job Purpose and Key Accountabilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Presales Consultant to support our cybersecurity presales initiatives across the UAE. This strategic role involves close collaboration with sales, engineering, and consulting teams from both partners and vendors to design tailored security solutions. You will serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and external clients, driving technical excellence and business value.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Engagement

• Collaborate with sales teams to identify partner security requirements through discovery calls, workshops, and presentations.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholders across partners and vendors.
• Organize and deliver technical training sessions for partners and customers.

Solution Design & Proposal Support

• Lead the technical design and architecture of cybersecurity solutions.
• Develop detailed technical proposals, RFP responses, and solution presentations.
• Translate customer/reseller inquiries into optimal technical solutions.

Product Demonstrations & POCs

• Deliver engaging product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and technical workshops.
• Simplify complex technical concepts into clear, business-relevant insights.

Team Leadership

• Mentor junior presales engineers and coordinate presales efforts across teams (if applicable).
• Represent the cybersecurity presales function in regional strategy planning and pipeline reviews.

Market Intelligence

• Stay current with cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, technologies, and vendor offerings.
• Collaborate with vendors and partners to align go-to-market (GTM) strategies.

• Proven experience with solutions in areas such as:
• Identity and privilege access management
• Network access control
• Security policy orchestration
• Data protection and automation
• Endpoint detection and response
• Micro-segmentation
• Active Directory security and resilience
• Ability to architect and position enterprise-grade cybersecurity platforms across diverse customer environments.
• Familiarity with integrated security ecosystems involving multiple vendors and technologies.
• Relevant certifications in these domains are highly desirable , demonstrating expertise and credibility in specialized cybersecurity areas.

Business & Strategic Impact

• Ability to map technical solutions to business outcomes, helping partners and customers understand ROI and risk mitigation.
• Support pipeline development through technical enablement and strategic account planning.
• Contribute to regional cybersecurity GTM strategy, including partner activation and enablement plans.

Regional Relevance

• Deep understanding of the UAE cybersecurity landscape, including key verticals like government, BFSI, oil & gas, and telecom.
• Existing network of regional cybersecurity professionals is highly desirable.
• Arabic language proficiency is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a presales or solutions architect role.
• Strong technical knowledge across a broad spectrum of cybersecurity domains.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence technical and business audiences.
• Experience working with channel partners and vendors in the UAE region.
