Presales Data Center Engineer

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented technically skilled and client-focused Presales Engineer to support the sales team by designing technically sound and commercially viable data center solutions aligned with customer requirements. The role involves solution design, technical documentation, client engagement, and coordination with internal engineering, projects, and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and propose data center solutions.

• Design end-to-end data center infrastructure including power, cooling, racks, containment, cabling, and monitoring.

• Conduct site surveys, technical assessments, and feasibility studies.

• Prepare technical designs, drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BoM).

• Develop technical proposals and respond to RFPs/RFQs.

• Engage with OEMs and vendors for technical validation and pricing.

• Deliver technical presentations and solution walkthroughs to clients.

• Support value engineering, cost optimization, and solution standardization.

• Ensure smooth handover to project and operations teams after award.

Requirements​

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, IT, or related engineering discipline.

• 3–6 years of experience in data center presales, design, or engineering roles.

• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure systems.

• Experience preparing technical proposals and BoQs.

• Good communication and presentation skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Tier III / Tier IV data center design.

• Knowledge of Uptime Institute and TIA-942 standards.

• Vendor certifications related to data center solutions.

Pay: AED11,000.00 - AED13,500.00 per month
