Pre‑Sales & Technical Solutions Engineer (ELV / Smart Home)

We are looking for a technically strong and customer‑focused Technical Solutions Engineer to support our CCTV, WiFi camera, and smart home automation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding client requirements, preparing technical proposals, configuring systems, and supporting project execution from design through installation.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both technology and customer interaction, and who is eager to grow in the smart home, ELV, and networking domain.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Proposals & Solution Design

• Understand customer requirements for CCTV, WiFi cameras, smart home automation, and ELV systems
• Prepare technical proposals and solution designs for:
• CCTV systems (IP cameras, NVRs, VMS)
• WiFi camera solutions
• Home automation systems (lighting control, smart locks, speakers, WiFi solutions, etc.)
• Select appropriate products and system architectures based on project needs and budget
• Upsell and recommend enhanced or alternative solutions when appropriate

2. System Configuration & Technical Support

• Carry out configuration and setup for systems that require technical configuration, including:
• CCTV systems and camera configurations
• WiFi and networking solutions (routers, switches, access points)
• Vape detection and similar IP‑based systems
• Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

3. Networking & Technology Exposure

• Apply basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, VLAN basics, PoE, bandwidth planning)
• Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers when required
• Stay willing and motivated to learn new technologies and systems as the business expands

4. Site Supervision & Project Support

• Supervise installation teams when required to ensure work is executed according to design and quality standards
• Ensure installations meet project scope, specifications, and best practices
• Coordinate between office, site teams, and clients for smooth project execution

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, IT, or related field
• Experience or strong exposure to CCTV systems, WiFi solutions, or smart home technologies
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP, routers, switches, PoE)
• Ability to read, understand, and prepare technical documentation and proposals
• Strong communication skills with customers and internal teams
• Tech‑savvy, hands‑on, and willing to learn new systems

Preferred / Added Advantages

• Experience with smart home systems (lighting control, smart locks, speakers, automation platforms)
• Experience configuring IP cameras, NVRs, VMS platforms, or WiFi networks
• Previous exposure to ELV systems (CCTV, access control, intercoms, structured cabling)
• UAE market experience is a plus

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
