Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Preschool and School Age Teacher/Driver/General Cleaning professional to join our team. This role involves engaging with children through educational activities, safely transporting them to and from school, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children, possess strong communication skills, and be committed to creating a positive, safe space for every child.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate actiovities that support early childhood education, literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional growth.
- Assist children with homework and classroom activities, fostering a love of learning and supporting their developmental milestones.
- Safely transport children to and from school, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing general cleaning duties throughout the day to ensure health standards are met.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management techniques to promote respectful interactions.
- Communicate regularly with parents about children's progress, activities, and any concerns related to child welfare or development.
- Support classroom management by organizing materials, lesson planning, and creating engaging learning experiences tailored to various age groups including toddlers and preschoolers.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies.
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
- Ability to work effectively with children of different ages, including preschoolers and school-aged students.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and team members.
- Familiarity with special education needs and behavior management strategies.
- Knowledge of Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in daycare or private school settings is preferred.
