Full-Time | Monday–Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Learn ‘n Play Preschool is hiring an energetic, dependable Assistant Teacher to join our play-based, nature-inspired program. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a veteran lead teacher and grow your skills in a supportive, hands-on classroom.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative, stays engaged throughout the day, and genuinely enjoys working with young children in an active environment.

What You’ll Do

• Support the lead teacher in a classroom of up to 20 three-year-olds
• Ensure constant supervision and maintain a safe environment
• Engage children in play-based, hands-on learning (indoors and outdoors)
• Assist with positive behavior management and classroom routines
• Help maintain a clean, organized classroom
• Step in proactively—this role requires awareness, initiative, and teamwork

Preferred

• Prior experience working with young children in daycare or preschool settings is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and classroom management techniques.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude while managing multiple responsibilities in a lively classroom environment.
• Certification or coursework in childhood education or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
