Preschool Assistant / Co-Teacher
Full-Time | Monday–Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Learn ‘n Play Preschool is hiring an energetic, dependable Assistant Teacher to join our play-based, nature-inspired program. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a veteran lead teacher and grow your skills in a supportive, hands-on classroom.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative, stays engaged throughout the day, and genuinely enjoys working with young children in an active environment.
What You’ll Do
- Support the lead teacher in a classroom of up to 20 three-year-olds
- Ensure constant supervision and maintain a safe environment
- Engage children in play-based, hands-on learning (indoors and outdoors)
- Assist with positive behavior management and classroom routines
- Help maintain a clean, organized classroom
- Step in proactively—this role requires awareness, initiative, and teamwork

- Interest in outdoor learning, creativity, and play-based education
- Strong reliability and teamwork
Preferred
- Prior experience working with young children in daycare or preschool settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and classroom management techniques.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while managing multiple responsibilities in a lively classroom environment.
- Certification or coursework in childhood education or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
