What You’ll Do

As a Preschool Assistant Teacher, you’ll be an essential part of creating joyful, structured, and engaging days for our children.

You will:

• Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing hands-on lessons in literacy, math, science, and social-emotional development
• Help create a calm, safe, and inclusive classroom where every child feels a part of our school family
• Facilitate play-based learning experiences that promote creativity, independence, and problem-solving
• Supervise children during centers, outdoor play, meals, and rest time with attentiveness and care
• Help prepare classroom materials and maintain an organized, welcoming learning space
• Build warm, professional relationships with families and communicate effectively with team members

Most importantly — you’ll help children feel loved, capable, and confident.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re searching for someone who:

• Has experience working with young children in a preschool, daycare, or early learning environment
• Understands early childhood development and believes in positive guidance and relationship-based discipline
• Is patient, nurturing, and able to manage classroom behavior using encouragement and redirection
• Communicates clearly and collaborates well with a team
• Brings energy, flexibility, and a sense of humor to the classroom

Formal education or certifications in early childhood are wonderful — but heart, dedication, and relevant experience matter just as much!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
