Assistant Teacher (Preschool / Early Childhood)

Learn And Explore Academy is seeking a passionate, nurturing, and energetic Assistant Teacher to join our growing early childhood team. Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and activities
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom environment
• Collaborate with the teaching team to support children’s learning and development
• Supervise children throughout the day, including classroom activities, transitions, meals, and outdoor play
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff
• Assist with classroom preparation, organization, and upkeep of educational materials
• Encourage social-emotional growth through positive guidance and support
• Help create meaningful and memorable classroom experiences for students

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Previous experience working with young children preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Warm, patient, and professional demeanor
• Passion for early childhood education and child development
• Growth mindset and willingness to learn

Preferred Certifications

• CPR Certification
• Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification
