**Job Summary:**

Join our team at Learned Potential LLC. as a Preschool Assistant Teacher at Peak Potential Pre-school (ages 2.5-5) and contribute to our mission of empowering diverse communities through education services and programs. As a dynamic education management and consulting firm, we are dedicated to fostering equity and maximizing the potential of every child.

**Responsibilities:**

- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for preschool-aged children to learn and grow.

- Develop age-appropriate lesson plans focusing on literacy education, math, and childhood development.

- Implement effective classroom management techniques to ensure a safe and engaging learning environment.

- Utilize early intervention strategies to support students' individual needs and promote their overall development.

- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to provide holistic support for each child's educational journey.

- Incorporate standardized testing practices where applicable to assess student progress and tailor teaching strategies accordingly.

- Familiarity with daycare operations and experience working with students in a preschool or private school setting.

- Demonstrate knowledge of special education practices to accommodate diverse learning styles.

-Support the lead teacher with daily tasks and activities.

-Act as a long-term substitute lead teacher. Duration: 1 week to 1 month in July and August

**Experience:**

- Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children, preferably in a classroom setting.

- Proficiency in implementing educational strategies that promote childhood development and enhance learning outcomes.

- Strong understanding of literacy education, math concepts, and early childhood development principles.

- Experience in utilizing classroom management techniques that foster a positive learning environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour
