Preschool Assistant Teacher

Position Summary

Ballestrini’s Child Care Centers is hiring caring, dependable Teachers and Assistant Teachers to join our team! We have openings in our pre-K and Toddler classrooms at our Niantic location. Location:

• 161 West Main St. Niantic CT

HOURS OF OPERATION : 6:30AM-6:00PM

Responsibilities:

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children
• Assist with classroom activities, play, and daily routines
• Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth
• Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness
• Work as part of a positive teaching team
• Communicate professionally with families and coworkers

Qualifications:

• Positive, caring, and dependable attitude
• Experience working with children preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• CDA, ECE credits, or childcare experience are a plus
