Pay: $21.00 – $23.00/hour

Seaside Ranchos Preschool, a play-based preschool serving children ages 2–5, is seeking a reliable and experienced Assistant Teacher / Floater to support our team in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Assist with lesson plans and classroom activities (art, music, play, etc.)
• Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
• Maintain a safe environment
• Supervise children and assist with routines, diapering, and potty training
• Communicate with staff and parents
• Help with cleaning, organizing, and classroom upkeep
• Provide coverage for staff breaks as needed
• Set up and take down cots daily

Requirements

• 12+ ECE units (core classes required)
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Live Scan, TB test, immunizations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
