Preschool & Daycare Teachers (Lead & Assistant)

We have exciting opportunities available across multiple preschools, daycares, and childcare centers in Kansas City, MO. We are hiring for both Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers across our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms.

Teacher Responsibilities:

• Interact affectionately and respectfully with children
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development
• Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate professionally and warmly with children, families, and peers
• Collaborate effectively with other teachers and school staff members.
• Follow all health and safety policies and procedures while supervising the children at all times.

Teacher Qualifications (all teaching positions):

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School diploma (or equivalent) is required
• Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children in a daycare, childcare center, preschool, or similar child care setting
• Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail
• Ability to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
• All candidates must meet Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary (DESE) / Office of Childhood requirements for their role
• Lead Teachers/Teachers: CDA or equivalent degree/experience required
• Assistant Teachers/Floaters: Certification preferred but not required; prior classroom experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of classroom experience in a childcare center or preschool setting
• Experience developing lesson plans, leading classrooms, and engaging with families about child development
