Preschool I (3-year-olds) and Preschool II (4-year-olds) Teacher

Job Summary
Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Preschool Teacher dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of 3-year-olds (Preschool I) and 4-year-olds (Preschool II). Duties

  • Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to preschoolers’ age groups, incorporating early childhood education principles and Montessori methods when applicable
  • Design lesson plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning
  • Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive environment that encourages curiosity and independence
  • Support children with special education needs and early intervention strategies to ensure all learners succeed
  • Utilize behavior management techniques to foster respectful interactions and positive conduct among students
  • Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and inform instruction
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to support each child's welfare and developmental goals
  • Incorporate Toddler care practices where appropriate for younger or transitioning students
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behavioral notes in compliance with childcare standards
  • Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, classroom management, and teaching methodologies

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of childhood development stages and early intervention strategies
  • Proven experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management within preschool settings
  • Expertise in working with children of diverse backgrounds, including those with special needs or requiring additional support
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and community partners
  • Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools for early learners
  • Ability to implement Montessori or other educational philosophies that enhance preschool learning experiences
  • Skilled in behavior management techniques that promote positive social interactions and emotional regulation
  • Experience in childcare environments such as daycare centers or private schools is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of teaching physical education activities suitable for preschoolers to promote motor skills development
  • Commitment to child welfare practices ensuring safety, health, and overall well-being at all times
