Preschool Lead and Assistant Teacher

We have positions open for both Lead and Assistant Teachers in a variety of preschool ages.

Lead Teacher Requirements: CDA, Associates Degree or Bachelors' Degree preferred (early childhood, child development, education or related field). Must be able to communicate effectively with children, families and co-workers.

Lead Teacher Responsibilities:

• Develop age-appropriate lesson and activity plans designed to promote learning and creativity
• Maintain classroom schedule that includes adequate physical activity, rest and play time
• Maintain compliance with state guidelines and accreditation standards
• Establish and maintain relationships with children and families
• Maintain proper attendance records
• Maintain student portfolios, conduct progress reports
• Complete annual training as required by state

Assistant Teacher Requirements: CDA or High school degree or equivalent, 1 year experience working with preschool age children preferred, but not required.

Assistant Teacher Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teacher with age-appropriate lesson and activities to promote learning and creativity
• Assist lead teacher in maintaining a classroom schedule that includes adequate physical activity, rest and play time
• Maintain compliance with state guidelines and accreditation standards
• Establish and maintain relationships with children and families
• Help maintain proper attendance records
• Complete annual training as required by state

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 to $18.00 /hour
