Preschool Lead and Assistant Teacher 2's FT w Benefits

Our Assistant Teachers are part of the team.

Current position: Lead 3's-4's PreK

Responsibilities:

• assist with lesson plans and activities for teaching units
• supervise children in circle-time, center time, recess, nap, transitions, lunch, etc.
• manage behaviors
• teach social skills, communication skills, manners, etc.
• care for children: physical and emotional needs
• communicate professionally with co-workers, families, and administration

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older
• HS graduate
• Pass criminal history background checks and be fingerprinted by the FBI
• Prefer candidates with licensed childcare experience (not to include babysitting, nanny experience, or parenting experience. TX DFPS has minimum standards)
• Prefer candidates with CDA's, Associate's, or Bachelor's degrees

We are an accredited preschool with students 6 weeks through 5 years in our preschool program. Students Kindergarten - 5th grade are in our After-school/summer camp program.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
