Duties

• Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with our curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and Bible lessons
• Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior guidance strategies
• Support children’s social-emotional growth by applying early intervention techniques and understanding childhood development milestones
• Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and support the needs of all children in your classroom
• Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring safety, engagement, and inclusivity for children of various ages including toddlers and preschoolers
• Incorporate small group learning into lessons to meet the needs of all students
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and parent communication when needed

Requirements

• Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, with strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
• Ability to plan engaging lessons that promote cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development
• Prior experience in private school or daycare environments is preferred; certification in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable
