Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated native Spanish speaker Preschool Teacher to foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education, classroom management with a strong commitment to supporting children's developmental milestones. This role involves working closely with the Program Director, getting training in the Montessori Approach & The Language Acquisition method on site and preparing environments that are conducive to the social, emotional, and cognitive growth of the children.
Responsibilities
- Implement Montessori methods of approach as well as Language Acquisition Methods that you will be trained in
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and active learning.
- Manage daily classroom activities, instructional delivery, and assessment of student progress
- Foster positive behavior management strategies to promote respectful interactions and social-emotional development among children.
- Engage in ongoing communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan school-wide activities and ensure compliance with childcare regulations and educational standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student records, attendance, and assessments in accordance with school policies.
- Participate in our ongoing professional development training workshops
Skills
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and classroom management strategies.
- Ability to work effectively with children ages 2-5 of diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other specialized educational approaches is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes child welfare and supports individual learning styles.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
