Preschool Lead Teacher

* An Associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university with 21 credit hours in courses related directly to early childhood education, child care and/or child development.

• ability to understand and support the education program using “learning through play” philosophy;
• ability to interact closely with children at their level;
• ability to keep children within sight and sound supervision at all times;
• ability to communicate effectively and professionally with school personnel, children and parents;
• ability to handle crisis situations, including assisting in evacuating the building during emergencies; and
• ability to comply in all respects with all applicable laws and regulations relating to childcare emotional maturity when working with children
• cooperation with the purposes and services of the program
• respect for children and adults
• flexibility, understanding and patience
• physical and mental health that do not interfere with child care responsibilities
• good personal hygiene

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $39,000.00 per year
