Preschool Lead Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive, learn, and develop essential skills. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and social skills while fostering a love for learning.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.
• Create lesson plans that incorporate various subjects including literacy, math, and physical education.
• Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for all students.
• Provide individualized support to children with special needs through early intervention strategies.
• Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Foster strong communication with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational program and share best practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom that promotes learning through play and exploration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
• Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
• Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
• Experience in special education or tutoring is highly valued.
• Understanding of standardized testing procedures as they relate to early childhood education.
• Previous experience in private school settings or Montessori methods is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
