Preschool Lead Teacher

Job Summary
We are a faith-based learning center seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate has passion for working with children, creating a nurturing classroom environment, and helping students grow socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually. This position will be responsible for following and implementing curriculum, planning engaging classroom activities, and maintaining a positive learning environment for young children.

Responsibilities

• Follow and implement classroom curriculum
• Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social-emotional development.
• Plan age-appropriate learning activities.
• Encourage social, emotional, and educational growth.
• Maintain open communication with parents
• Follow all state licensing and center policies.
• Manage daily classroom activities to ensure smooth operations while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.
• Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, and innovative teaching practices.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of early childhood education
• Experience working with children, especially toddlers and preschoolers.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment.
• Excellent communication skills with families, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Lead Teacher required
• High School diploma or GED required
• CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain
• Ability to work well in a team enviroment
• Reliable and punctual
