Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Preschool Lead Teacher (Co-Lead) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with fellow educators to create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young children. Your leadership will inspire a positive classroom atmosphere, promote early learning skills, and ensure every child’s safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support childhood development.
  • Lead classroom activities that foster social-emotional growth, behavior management, and early intervention strategies.
  • Collaborate with co-lead teachers to manage daily classroom operations, including lesson planning and classroom management.
  • Engage with children through play-based learning, tutoring, and hands-on activities tailored to individual needs, including special education considerations.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any behavioral or developmental concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education standards, standardized testing preparation, and childcare best practices.

Experience

  • Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, preferably with toddlers or infants.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
  • Experience in special education or early intervention programs is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies such as early childhood education standards.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and families.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
