Job Summary
We are seeking a playful and dynamic Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and social interaction among children.
- Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management strategies, and classroom organization to ensure smooth operation.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address individual needs—such as special education or early intervention—and foster strong home-school connections.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods when appropriate to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Incorporate age-appropriate teaching techniques for toddlers and preschoolers, including hands-on activities that promote fine motor skills, literacy skills, and social-emotional learning.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides, providing guidance on classroom management and instructional best practices to maintain high-quality childcare standards.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Proven experience in classroom management and lesson planning within preschool or daycare settings.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners.
- Expertise in curriculum development with an emphasis on literacy education, math instruction, behavior management, and Montessori techniques.
- Ability to work with children with diverse needs including special education requirements and early intervention strategies.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures used in early childhood assessment environments.
- Experience in teaching physical education activities that promote motor skill development and overall health.
- Knowledge of toddler care practices and childcare regulations to ensure compliance with safety standards.
