Carter Christian Preschool is seeking an experienced Preschool Director to lead a licensed early childhood education program. This role provides both spiritual and operational leadership, ensuring a high-quality preschool environment aligned with California licensing standards and developmentally appropriate practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and supervision for preschool staff and teachers
• Oversee daily operations of a licensed childcare center
• Ensure compliance with California Community Care Licensing (CCL) regulations
• Support curriculum implementation and classroom quality
• Lead enrollment, tours, and family communication
• Manage Club Carter after-school and Camp Carter programs
• Oversee budgeting, staffing, and program growth

Qualifications:

• Active Christian faith with demonstrated spiritual leadership
• Meets California Preschool Director licensing requirements
• 2+ years leadership experience in a preschool or childcare center preferred
• Strong knowledge of licensing regulations and compliance
• Experience in staff management, enrollment, and program operations
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills

Compensation:
$75,000 – $85,000 annually, based on experience, education, and qualifications, with opportunity for growth based on performance
