Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and promoting positive behavior among students.

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.
  • Create lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and physical education activities.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all students, including those requiring special education services.
  • Utilize effective behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among children.
  • Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s development and classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices in early childhood education.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space conducive to learning.
  • Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the school day.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
  • Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
  • Ability to implement early intervention strategies for children with special needs.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff members.
  • Familiarity with standardized testing practices as applicable to early childhood education.
  • Experience in tutoring or providing additional support to students as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour
