Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and promoting positive behavior among students.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes literacy, math, and physical education.
  • Create lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods, including Montessori techniques, to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies.
  • Provide individualized support for children with special needs through early intervention techniques.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student assessments and progress in accordance with standardized testing requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience within the preschool setting.
  • Ensure compliance with child welfare regulations and maintain a clean and organized classroom.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting.
  • Strong understanding of childhood development principles and effective classroom management techniques.
  • Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching various subjects including literacy and math.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
  • Familiarity with behavior management strategies and special education practices is highly desirable.
  • Ability to create an inclusive environment that meets the needs of all students, including those requiring additional support.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.75 per hour
