What you’ll do

• Develop and adapt curriculum to meet the diverse needs of all students, including those requiring special education or early intervention.
• Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive behavior management and childhood development.
• Provide individualized attention to each child, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being through attentive toddler care.
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support child welfare and enhance learning experiences at home.
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain an orderly learning space conducive to exploration and creativity.
• Conduct assessments, including standardized testing, to track student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Basic qualifications

• Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.71 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
