Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
  • Create a warm classroom atmosphere that promotes positive behavior management and supports individual learning styles.
  • Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate hands-on activities, storytelling, arts and crafts, and interactive play to stimulate cognitive and social development.
  • Conduct assessments of children's progress through observations and standardized testing to tailor instruction effectively.
  • Support children with special educational needs through early intervention strategies and collaboration with specialists in childhood development and child welfare.
  • Manage classroom routines efficiently to ensure safety, organization, and smooth transitions throughout the day.
  • Foster open communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
  • Incorporate teaching physical education and tutoring sessions to enhance motor skills and academic achievement.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental assessments, lesson plans, and incident reports.
  • Uphold all childcare regulations and standards for daycare or private school environments while ensuring a safe, inclusive space for every child.

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential; familiarity with toddler care is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across early childhood subjects such as literacy education, math, and physical education.
  • Experience with special education practices, early intervention programs, or Montessori methods enhances your candidacy.
  • Proven classroom management skills combined with effective communication skills to engage children positively and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles to support age-appropriate learning activities and behavioral guidance strategies.
  • Experience working within private school environments or similar educational institutions is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with standardized testing procedures used in early childhood assessment ensures accurate monitoring of student progress.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.04 - $25.33 per hour
