Job Summary:
- Create and execute lesson plans to establish a fun learning environment
- Conduct child assessments and monitoring
- Maintain solid classroom management protocols
- Assist the children that are ready for potty training achieve success (as needed)
- Maintain classroom safety & sanitation requirements
- Participate in TRS mentoring process
- Complete all required annual childcare and food sponsor trainings
- Must have basic reading, writing, and computer skills in order to complete online trainings, classroom management activities: develop lesson & activity plans, child monitoring and assessments
- MUST clear FBI Background/fingerprint requirements,
- Have or obtain CPR/Pediatric First Aide w/Rescue Breathing.
- Must be dependable in the areas of attendance, & timeliness for schedule shift
- Establish positive and caring communications with our Parents
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma/GED or provide proof of working towards GED
- Preferred: CPR/Pediatric First Aid w/Rescue Breathing
- Preferred: Child Development Associate (CDA) or higher-level Degree from an Accredited Institution
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Must be able to keep up with the physical demands of infants, toddlers, pre-school children. Such as, but not limited to: standing, stooping, sitting on floor, crawling, dancing, jumping, playing acting silly, outside conditions.
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs. routinely or as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.10 - $13.43 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
