Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to active learning and exploration.
• Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques.
• Engage with children through age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and cognitive growth.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to monitor each child's progress, especially in areas such as special education and early intervention.
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to evaluate developmental milestones and tailor lesson plans accordingly.

Experience

• Prior classroom experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings are encouraged but not required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management, and behavior management strategies.
• Experience with curriculum development and lesson planning are highly desirable.

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
