<Responsibilities>

  • Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to preschool-aged children, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods when applicable
  • Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that support social-emotional growth
  • Conduct assessments to monitor childhood development progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists in early intervention and special education to support individual student needs
  • Plan and execute lesson plans that promote active learning, creativity, and critical thinking across various subjects including literacy, math, and physical activities
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration while ensuring child welfare and safety standards are met
  • Engage in ongoing professional development related to toddler care, childcare best practices, and early childhood education trends

  • Strong knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for preschool children
  • Proven experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings; private school experience is a plus
  • Expertise in classroom management techniques to foster positive behavior and engagement
  • Familiarity with special education strategies and early intervention programs to support diverse learners
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and specialists
  • Ability to implement teaching methods, child-centered approaches
  • Competence in using standardized testing tools to assess developmental milestones and academic progress
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles including social-emotional growth, literacy education, and physical education
  • Experience with toddler care routines and childcare practices that promote health and safety
  • Skills in tutoring or individualized instruction to support student learning needs

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
