Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Collaborate with families to support each child's unique needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to daycare or preschool schedules.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Incorporate child welfare practices to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all students at all times.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with preschool-aged children in daycare or private school settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies.
- Experience working with children requiring special education or behavioral support is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Montessori or other specialized teaching methodologies preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage parents in their child's growth.
