Job Summary
Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team at Bright Start Learning Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their development through engaging activities and individualized care. The Child Care Teacher will play a crucial role in supporting the emotional, social, and cognitive growth of each child.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
• Facilitate engaging activities that encourage exploration and creativity.
• Maintain effective classroom management to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
• Provide individualized attention to children with special needs or requiring additional support.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns.

Requirements

• Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
• First aid certification is highly desirable.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
• Experience in caregiving or nannying is beneficial.
• Familiarity with preschool curriculum and infant care practices is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
• A genuine passion for childcare and commitment to fostering children's growth.
