Preschool Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing environment that promotes early childhood development. In this role, you will design engaging lesson plans, implement age-appropriate activities, and support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a positive foundation for children’s future learning experiences, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and excited to explore the world around them.

Duties

  • Develop and execute dynamic curriculum plans tailored to preschool-aged children, incorporating literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and Montessori methods where applicable.
  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and independence through hands-on activities and interactive lessons.
  • Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement techniques, fostering a respectful and inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning.
  • Support children with special educational needs through early intervention strategies and individualized attention.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address concerns, and share strategies for continued development at home.
  • Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, lesson plans, and classroom activities in compliance with childcare regulations.

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management within early childhood education environments.
  • Knowledge of special education practices and early intervention techniques to support diverse learners.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Experience in teaching physical education, literacy education, math concepts, and child welfare practices is highly desirable.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
