Job Summary
We are a faith-based, play-based preschool, rooted in community. We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to inspire and nurture young learners in their early childhood development journey. In this vital role, you will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes faith, play, curiosity, social skills, and foundational learning. Your enthusiasm for early education will help children develop essential skills in literacy, numeracy, social interaction, and physical activity, setting the stage for lifelong success. Duties

• Foster a nurturing, loving classroom atmosphere that encourages positive behavior management and emotional growth.
• Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including curriculum development tailored to preschool-aged children.
• Facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, fine and gross motor skills, and creative expression.
• Manage classroom routines efficiently to maximize engagement and ensure safety during preschool hours
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to support each child's welfare, progress, and overall well-being.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles.
• Experience in classroom management and behavior management strategies for young children.
• Proficiency in play-based curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
• Ability to work effectively with children with diverse backgrounds and needs.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with parents and colleagues.
• Familiarity with classroom experience in daycare or private school settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of preschool care practices and childcare regulations to ensure a safe learning environment. Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9.0 – 22.5 per week
